Terms of Service

NailCards AI is an AI-assisted nail colour and design assistant. Based on details you provide — such as skin tone, zodiac sign, hair and eye colour, style preference, occasion and optional outfit photos — the app generates colour palettes, finish and shape suggestions, printable and shareable instruction cards, and, on paid plans, AI design images, nail care timelines, Weekly Match looks and Nail DNA summaries.

We may add, change or remove features over time. Availability of specific features depends on your plan.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide an accurate email address and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• One account per person; accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.

NailCards AI offers a Free plan with a limited number of generations, a Pro plan at $9 per month and a VIP plan at $19 per month. Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions: unless you cancel, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period and the applicable fee is charged to your payment method.

Payments are processed by Stripe. NailCards AI does not receive or store your full card details. You can cancel at any time from Account settings; cancellation stops future charges and your paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period, after which the account reverts to the Free plan.

Prices are shown in US dollars and may exclude taxes that apply in your jurisdiction. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice; changes apply from your next billing period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

You agree not to:

• Abuse, automate or attempt to bypass generation limits, rate limits or plan restrictions.
• Scrape, bulk-download, resell, sublicense or redistribute the service or its outputs as a competing or commercial data product.
• Upload photos of other people without their permission, or any illegal, sexual, hateful or otherwise unlawful content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, probe or interfere with the security or infrastructure of the app.
• Use the service to build or train a competing AI model or dataset.

We may apply technical limits, throttle requests, or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe are violating these rules.

Your content. You retain all rights to the photos and information you upload. You grant NailCards AI a limited licence to store and process that content, and to transmit it to our AI processing providers, solely to operate the service and deliver your results.

Your results. Subject to these terms and your plan remaining in good standing, you may use the palettes, cards and images generated for you personally, including sharing them on social media and with your nail technician.

Our content. The NailCards AI name, logo, design system, copy, layouts, prompts and software are our intellectual property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Results are automated suggestions generated by AI models. They are not professional beauty, medical or dermatological advice and are not guaranteed to be accurate, available at any particular salon, or achievable with any particular product. Colours may appear different on screen than in real life, and salon execution may vary depending on your technician, products, nail condition and lighting.

Always follow the guidance of your nail technician and stop using any product that causes irritation. You use AI-generated suggestions at your own discretion.

We aim to keep the service running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features that rely on third-party AI providers may occasionally be delayed or unavailable. Where a generation fails due to a technical error, we make reasonable efforts to restore the affected quota.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NailCards AI is provided “as is” and we exclude all implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data, nor for outcomes arising from salon services performed based on our suggestions. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50 if you are on the Free plan. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including statutory consumer rights.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, is used fraudulently, has a failed or disputed payment, or where required by law. Where practical we will give notice and an opportunity to fix the issue first. On termination, your access to paid features ends and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION TO CONFIRM], and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

Action needed: confirm the governing jurisdiction before publishing. The billing entity behind the Stripe account is UK-based, so “England and Wales” is the likely answer — please verify with your accountant or legal adviser and we will replace this placeholder.

We may update these terms as the service develops. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use after a material change means you accept the updated terms.
